After being at a University centered around the enrichment and varied possibilities the camera can produce, I have come in contact with a harsh reality to my own work: I am copying what I know.
While my favorite photographers (Arbus, Tillmas, Parr, Brady, Gearon, Crewdson, di Lorca) all have a certain snapshot quality to them, but their work in the late 80s or even 90s was really hard to push through.
